Hello! This is my first ever blog, so bear with me. I'm a foodie. I absolutely love to cook and bake. Farmers markets, organic, bio dynamic, veggie gardens, home made pasta; I'm into it all and I definitely don't think it represents a failed attempt at authenticity (some American dude, can't remember his name, argued this). I'm hoping this blog will provide me with an outlet to share and record some of my recipies, foodie finds and adventures. Above is a pic of the gorgeous Patrice Newel purple garlic which arrived the other day. I ordered 2 kilos so there will be some garlic posts coming up! It's bio dynamic and on the other side of the spectrum to that horrid white, Chinese garlic which makes me shudder. I am going to hang it up in the front room with the de-humidifier and it should last at least 6 months and in Autumn i will plant some in my veggie patch. Anyway, there will be more posts and recipes coming soon.
